The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including free bonus story content for Shadows players.

According to the official statement, "A strange confrontation draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where hints of forbidden ceremonies and fearsome changes resonate through the darkness." The storyline introduces a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a clandestine sect.
The questline centers on "peculiar tests and a fearsome adversary" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Familiar Locations and Transformations
The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer ends with a powerful scene showing a character, likely the captive, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Rewards and Additional Material
Players who accomplish the adventure will receive an special katana together with several artifacts hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
