I will dominate 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants met personally to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As both boxers participated in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really happening.
